Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Floating Receptionist to join our team at ExamWorks. As a key member of our healthcare support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, including routing examinees to exam rooms and preparing them for examinations.
  • Verify examinee information and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of exam rooms, and report any issues to management.
  • Maintain a smooth flow of examinations and prioritize work activities to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including typing, filing, and emailing, as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 6 months of experience in a medical office or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as general computer skills and software proficiency.
