Become a valued member of our organization as a Furniture Relocation Specialist, where your primary responsibility will be to address the logistical needs of various departments. Your role will encompass:

  • Transporting and delivering furniture, appliances, and necessary supplies
  • Employing suitable moving tools and adhering to safe lifting practices
  • Driving a cube van for moving purposes
  • Maintaining and organizing storage facilities
  • Providing assistance with minor equipment upkeep and snow clearance

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school or equivalent educational background
  • Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Proven understanding of safe lifting methods and equipment operation
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with the ability to operate a large cube van

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dedication to promoting diversity, social equity, and creating a collaborative multicultural atmosphere

Compensation: $21.60/hour

Special Considerations:

  • Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required
  • Successful completion of a four-month probationary period for external applicants
  • Background verification and pre-employment physical assessment are mandatory
