Job Title: Professional Development Manager - Cardiac Medicine and Surgery

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Development Manager to join our team in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing programs for staff development, education, research, quality, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive education and training programs for nursing staff in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery.
  • Collaborate with Nurse Directors and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Design and deliver high-quality educational content, including workshops, webinars, and online courses.
  • Conduct needs assessments, evaluate program effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with clinical leaders to integrate education and practice, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiovascular nursing, with a focus on education and development.
  • Specialty certification in Cardiac Medicine and Surgery required.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
