Job Description

At Wellpoint Care Network, we are seeking a highly skilled Treatment Foster Care Specialist – Level 5 to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and managing children, foster parents, and staff in Level 5 shift-staffed treatment foster homes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, with a minimum of two years of post-degree experience in a social work-related field. A Master's degree or higher in social work or a related field is preferred. The candidate must be licensed or certified under ch. 457, Stats., and ch. MPSW 3,6,11,12, or 17.

The Treatment Foster Care Specialist – Level 5 will work with a small case load (4-6 clients) and form deep connections with them while supporting their development and growth opportunities. The role requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of community resources, and the ability to achieve outcomes and work successfully with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and developing Level 3 -5 foster homes, pursuing opportunities for geographic growth in the southeast region of the state, and understanding the changing needs of children in out-of-home care. They will also implement regional recruitment and retention plans, perform licensure monitoring and re-licensing functions, and provide accurate and professional documentation of foster home recruitment efforts and client treatment goals.

This is a full-time position with hybrid on-site/remote work available. The ideal candidate will have a valid Wisconsin Driver's License or occupational driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance. They will also be proficient in the usage of computer software, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and ADP.
