Key Responsibilities

The Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Lead Engineer will take charge of the design and management of M&S frameworks and tools, ensuring they align with the contract Statement of Work (SOW).

This role encompasses the coordination and oversight of all M&S initiatives, including those performed by subcontractors, to guarantee compliance with established requirements and objectives.

The M&S Lead Engineer will organize and facilitate meetings with the US Government client, oversee deliverables, and maintain transparent communication with management regarding system performance.

This position necessitates careful supervision of all M&S outputs to ensure they are thoroughly reviewed, comprehended, and fulfill project objectives.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as a vital member of a team that is often required to be highly responsive and agile to meet critical operational needs.

Applicants should possess experience in the following areas:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Modeling & Simulation, focusing on architecture and tool development.
  • Proven track record in planning and managing M&S activities as specified in contract SOWs.
  • Experience in coordinating and overseeing subcontractor M&S tasks.
  • Strong grasp of M&S requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with US Government clients and management.
  • Capability to review, comprehend, and validate M&S outputs.
  • Proficiency in relevant M&S software tools and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in Modeling & Simulation.
  • Experience managing large-scale M&S projects and teams.
  • Familiarity with DoD M&S standards and practices.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in overseeing subcontract efforts.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with advanced M&S technologies such as AI, machine learning, and data analytics.
  • Active security clearance.
