Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Graduate Therapist Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn and develop competencies in the assessment and treatment of adults and their families.

The Community Integrated Recovery Center (CIRC) programs offer traditional outpatient therapies and psychiatric rehabilitation services on site and in the community. We provide a community setting with groups and individuals using a variety of evidence-based practices, providing individual PRS and therapy, and group PRS and therapy, teaching, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management services.

Interns will have the opportunity to observe, co-facilitate, and eventually facilitate PRS/therapy groups and individual services with a minimum caseload determined by the intern's schedule. This internship will include completing intakes, which consist of health screenings, release of information, consents, functional assessments within the program, providing clinical services, developing and implementing treatment plans, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and potential additional educational opportunities.

  • We require a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline from an accredited university and be in 1st or 2nd year of master's program/or advanced standing to participate.
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services (Only based on residency in the state of PA)
  • COVID Vaccination
