Position Overview:

We are seeking a Staff Tech Lead to become a vital part of our Cloud team. This team is essential for developing and managing our cloud infrastructure and development platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team focused on the automated deployment of applications within secure production environments.
  • Create developer-centric tools and infrastructure that enhance developer satisfaction and accelerate development processes.
  • Establish, document, and implement 'golden paths' for teams to develop services in a scalable and secure manner.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to gather requirements, provide support, and advance projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in delivering commercial products and services, ideally using Go.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing services using Go, Python, or C++.
  • Experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as ArgoCD and Spinnaker.
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, including the development of custom controllers and operators for automation.
  • Experience in leading a small team of infrastructure engineers.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Experience managing ingress solutions (e.g., Ambassador, Envoy, Istio).
  • Background in Developer Platforms within mid-sized or larger organizations.
  • Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits.
