Key Responsibilities

  • Originate mortgage loans in assigned metropolitan territories, taking applications and conducting preliminary underwriting reviews.
  • Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval, ensuring timely completion of required documents.
  • Develop and maintain a strong referral base within assigned markets, leveraging your expertise to drive sales and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and product offerings to provide exceptional customer service and drive business results.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum one year of mortgage, sales, real estate, or banking experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work independently, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements for various mortgage insurance companies, as well as local, state, and national laws.
  • Well-developed sales ability and ability to analyze financial information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of mortgage loan origination experience with proven results.
  • Established referral base within assigned market.
