Job Title: Director of Recruiting

UnionMain Homes is seeking an experienced Director of Recruiting/Human Resources to lead our personnel management and ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned with our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative recruiting strategies to identify exceptional candidates and facilitate all aspects of the recruiting process.
  • Effectively manage outside recruiting resources to expedite hiring for time-urgent or highly specialized positions, especially sales.
  • Source candidates through direct outreach to local talent pools utilizing LinkedIn and other professional sites.
  • Expand our participation in networking, recruiting, and hiring events.
  • Develop an intern program.
  • Assess and improve all aspects of the candidate review process, including phone screening of candidates, interviewing scheduling & techniques, candidate selection, and background/reference checks.
  • Monitor the performance of our recruiting programs using various KPIs, such as cost per hire, turnover rates, and time to hire.
  • Provide leadership in developing strategies for workforce planning, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and employee relations.
  • Provide counsel on employee relations strategy, including investigation of issues, state/federal programs, and compliance with legal requirements, disciplinary actions, development, and coaching support.
  • In coordination with the Vice President, develop and implement corporate plans for various HR matters, such as compensation, benefits, health and safety, etc.
Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations in Texas and Georgia.
  • Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated track record in attracting, sourcing, and selecting top talent in both sales and corporate positions.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a strong ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Previous work experience as an HR Director for a minimum of 10 years in a progressive leadership role.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, I/O Psychology, or Human Resource.
