Position: Governance Risk and Compliance Consultant
Role: Principal Consultant
About the Role
The Principal Consultant position is part of the Infosys Consulting division within the Financial Services sector. This role focuses on collaborating with senior business and technology leaders to develop and implement effective strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects at Financial Services organizations to tackle critical challenges in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and controls.
- Manage GRC initiatives, encompassing Policy, Risk, Controls, Compliance, Enterprise, Incident, Vendor, Threat, Business Continuity, Audit, and Security Operations Management.
- Guide client teams in delivering integrated solutions and multiple project streams using RSA Archer or MetricStream platforms.
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to establish technology strategies, create project plans, define business requirements, analyze data needs, and drive quality assurance strategies.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior consultants within the project team.
- Collaborate with various teams, including technology delivery, to present a compelling value proposition to clients.
- Identify and mitigate engagement risks by proactively addressing issues and suggesting remediation strategies.
- Foster client relationships to expand the engagement footprint within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in Financial Services, with a minimum of 5 years in GRC or operational risk assessment.
- Experience in a business consulting environment.
- Familiarity with operational risk frameworks such as RCSA.
- Strong presentation and interviewing skills, with experience in facilitating meetings and leading workshops.
- Exceptional writing skills, capable of producing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and PowerPoint presentations.
