This role entails managing the front desk operations and executing all nightly responsibilities, which include recording room revenues, conducting food and beverage audits, reconciling daily revenues and cash, balancing cashier activities, and preparing necessary daily and summary reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record room revenues accurately.
  • Conduct food and beverage audits.
  • Balance all cashier activities.
  • Prepare and distribute all required daily and summary reports.
  • Reconcile revenues and cash for daily operations.
  • Perform front office duties as needed.
  • Familiarize yourself with all hotel safety and emergency protocols.
  • Understand and comply with credit card, check, and cash handling procedures.
  • Address guest requests or concerns throughout the shift, ensuring exceptional guest service.
  • Adhere to break and meal period schedules in accordance with company policies.

Deliver guest service that aligns with Cedar Fair standards, including initiating guest interactions, responding to inquiries, and providing directions.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in your designated work area, performing all tasks in accordance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and reporting any unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holidays to accommodate business needs. Adhere to Cedar Fair's attendance policies.

Comply with Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct, including specific grooming and costuming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other relevant policies.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.



Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education in accounting is preferred.
  • One year of experience in hotel night auditing is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in resolving operational issues.
  • Mathematical skills, including proficiency in computer applications, 10-key by touch, and spreadsheet software.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test in accordance with company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

Ability to successfully complete a background check if 18 years of age or older, which may include credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
