About the Role

At Crossland Construction Company, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in the execution of our construction projects, working closely with our field personnel to gain hands-on experience and training for future advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Safety Management: Plan and monitor job-site safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Project Understanding: Study plans and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.
  • Site Layout and Coordination: Utilize total station and GPS technology to layout the entire project site.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct quality control checks and record as-built drawings to ensure project accuracy.
  • Cost Control and Reporting: Attend cost control meetings and prepare pay applications to ensure project financial stability.
  • Subcontractor Management: Assist in the control and scheduling of subcontractors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Project Documentation: Document project progress and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Material Procurement and Organization: Assist in the procurement and organization of project materials.
  • Project Asset Management: Ensure the proper documentation and care of project assets.
  • Site Condition Documentation: Document project site conditions through video and photographs.
  • Subcontractor Scope of Work: Familiarize yourself with subcontractors' scope of work to ensure seamless project execution.
