We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our faculty team as an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the area of Maternal and Child Health. This is a tenure-track position that will contribute to the growth and development of our nursing program.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Maternal and Child Health, including clinical and theoretical components.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's mission and goals.
- Conduct research and publish scholarly work in the area of Maternal and Child Health.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising and supervising research projects.
- Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and professional development activities.
- PhD in Nursing or a related field, or a DNP with a strong research focus.
- Eligibility for licensure in Michigan.
- Experience in teaching and research in Maternal and Child Health.
- Strong commitment to the integration of faith and learning, and to the values of a Christian liberal arts university.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and in research.
