Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in a leading Medical Device Manufacturer and distributor entity in New Jersey. This role will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and be an in-office position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day accounting and finance support using QuickBooks, including:
    • Accounts receivable and payable management, including invoicing and paying vendors
    • Analysis and coding of credit card charges
  • Prepare and file multiple state sales and use tax returns
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including:
    • Journal entries
    • Account reconciliations, such as prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued expenses schedules
  • Reconcile accounts and perform financial analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated monthly financial statements
  • Support management reporting and financial planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in financial statement preparation
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, with QuickBooks a plus
