Pharmacy Technician Front End/Order Entry Specialist

About the RoleAs a Front End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, you'll play a critical role in the medication dispensing process at our closed-door pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing order entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborating with pharmacists to ensure seamless medication dispensing
- Providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers
- Triaging customer service requests and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Calculating and verifying correct dosages based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions and maintaining accurate customer records

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Preferred qualifications: prior experience in the long-term care industry, PTCB National Certification, and verifiable High School Diploma or GED
