We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in all aspects of the Optum mental health and specialty pharmacy, primarily through the dispensing of medical prescriptions and performing essential clerical tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and clinic staff.
- Process prescription orders and prepare them for verification under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
- Order, receive, and manage incoming pharmacy supplies.
- Verify medication inventory and input data into the system to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the pharmacist to support pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform various clerical duties related to the department.
- Occasionally make deliveries as needed (less than 10% of the time for tasks such as weekly deposits or drop-offs).
You'll be recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and provide clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as opportunities for development in other areas of interest.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Indiana.
- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
