Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Distribution Center Technician to join our team at Parkview North Hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of medications within our health system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process vendor orders, accurately identifying and segregating products requiring barcoding
  • Prepare and barcode applicable products, and store inventory in a safe and organized manner
  • Utilize warehouse management system software to plan and release outbound orders
  • Maintain inventory control for distribution points, communicating supply issues with locations as needed
  • Consistently follow standard operating procedures to ensure accurate order fulfillment processing
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent GED required
  • Successful completion or enrollment in an Indiana Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training program within one year of employment
  • Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech-in-Training license or current State Board of Indiana license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern
  • One year of pharmacy experience and/or pharmacy technician oriented formal class work preferred
  • Shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience preferred
