Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements to provide evidence-based care.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Kentucky.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, preferably in a critical care environment.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
