Overview

CommonSpirit Health, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join its team at CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group in London, Kentucky. Our medical group delivers high-quality care to patients across 88 locations in central and eastern Kentucky.

We are expanding our cardiology services and recruiting a full-time interventional cardiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that includes interventional cardiology, EP, invasive, and general cardiology with advanced practice provider support.

The cardiac suite consists of 3 cardiac catheterization labs and 1 EP lab, equipped with the latest technology. Our hospital, Saint Joseph London, is a 150-bed full-service hospital located in London, KY, with a new medical office building on campus.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiology, with experience in diagnostic right and left heart catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, EKOS, vein ablation, and peripheral angiograms with interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, meeting or exceeding facility quality standards.
  • Ensure patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility.
  • Educate patients on clinical and managed care.
  • Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested.
  • Function as an effective clinic team member.
  • Meet productivity standards.
  • Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of ACGME or AOA postgraduate training program in cardiology.
  • Kentucky License. Qualified candidates will have a minimum medical degree, equivalent degree, or foreign equivalent degree, state of Kentucky medical license eligible, Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease, and completion of Cardiology Fellowship.
  • DEA, AAC certification, and Board certification or active participation in the examination process.
