Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Payments Administrator to join our team at Netflix. As a key member of our Payments Administration & Contract Tracking (PACT) team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments to above-the-line (ATL) talent working domestically and internationally.

Your primary focus will be on reviewing, evaluating, and executing contractual financial obligations of agreements and deal memos for ATL talent. This includes payments for rights options/purchases, script acquisitions, development materials, and other related expenses.

You will also be responsible for preparing payment authorizations and payment schedules for ATL talent, as well as tracking deadlines for ATL deals from the development phase through reversion.

In addition, you will work closely with our tax team to flag potential issues with loan-out corps, pay entities, work locations, and production locations.

About the Role

  • Proactively review, evaluate, and execute contractual financial obligations of agreements and deal memos for ATL talent.
  • Prepare payment authorizations and payment schedules for ATL talent.
  • Track deadlines for ATL deals from the development phase through reversion.
  • Work closely with our tax team to flag potential issues with loan-out corps, pay entities, work locations, and production locations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in legal and/or business affairs at a television studio, production company, or law firm.
  • Well-versed in above-the-line union labor agreements (DGA, WGA, SAG-AFTRA, Local 399).
  • Ability to read, understand, and summarize legal contracts with an emphasis on deadline triggers.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Mail).
