Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Physician to join our team at Optum. As a member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and diagnose eye conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with eye diseases or disorders
  • Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery and LASIK
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate them into your practice

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology Residency Program
  • Completion of an Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship (must be approved by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery – ASOPRS)
  • Board Eligible or Certified: American Board of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
  • Unrestricted WA Physician License or the ability to obtain prior to start
  • Current DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • EMR Proficient – EPIC preferred

  • No experience required, new graduates welcome to apply
