Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at TLC Nursing Services. As a Long-Term Acute Care Professional, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients who require extended hospitalization due to complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient health status and create a personalized care plan.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitor vital signs and medical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and fluid levels.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to diagnose and treat patient conditions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Keep detailed records of patient medical history and progress.
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform life-saving procedures if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Current nursing license and experience working in acute care or critical care settings.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Arrangement: This is a contracted travel position.
