Nurse Care Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at TLC Nursing Services. As a Long-Term Acute Care Professional, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients who require extended hospitalization due to complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health status and create a personalized care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor vital signs and medical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, breathing, and fluid levels.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to diagnose and treat patient conditions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Keep detailed records of patient medical history and progress.
- Respond to emergency situations and perform life-saving procedures if necessary.
Requirements:
- Current nursing license and experience working in acute care or critical care settings.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Arrangement: This is a contracted travel position.
