SimpliGov is seeking an experienced Government Sales Representative to drive sales growth in the Great Lakes region. As a seasoned sales professional, you'll leverage your expertise to build strong relationships with government agencies and promote our innovative solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of the GovTech industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. You'll work closely with our business development team to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at government agencies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to enhance regional outreach efforts.
  • Track customer information, forecasts, and reports using Salesforce.
  • Build and maintain a list of prospects and customers using strategic marketing data.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity.
  • Proven track record in sales and business development.
  • Strong understanding of the GovTech industry and its applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Self-motivated and self-starting individual.
  • Possess a hunter-sales mentality with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel into territory 25% of the time.

Benefits Package:

  • Base salary range: $90,000 - $110,000.
  • Bonus accelerators and reasonable targets.
  • Opportunity to earn up to $140,000 per year with commissions, bonuses, and performance incentives.
