We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Charlie's Produce. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing truck repair and maintenance work, running diagnostics on vehicles, and working closely with other team members to meet company goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the repair team to diagnose and plan repairs.
  • Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records.
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
  • Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the work area.
  • Ability to train and motivate team members.
  • Knowledge of shop flow; dispatching and scheduling.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be team-oriented.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and prioritize activities under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Able to work on your feet for 8+ hours.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer and email skills for regular daily communication with coworkers and departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • DOT Inspector Certification.
  • Air Brake Inspector Certification.
  • Refrigeration 608 & 609 Certifications.
  • CDL A or B.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45.00, dependent on experience and location of role, with potential for a 90-day performance-based raise and yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure.
