Job Title: Field Service Technician

At Brown Machine Group, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for the installation, start-up, and maintenance of our thermoforming equipment at customer sites.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and controls, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery. You will work closely with our engineering and sales teams to provide exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Install, start-up, and maintain thermoforming equipment at customer sites
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Provide training and technical assistance to customers
  • Suggest modifications or improvements to existing equipment

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment or machine maintenance
  • Industrial controls background and experience in troubleshooting robotics programming
  • Ability to understand and edit industrial controls including PLCs and Servo Systems
  • Valid passport and driver's license with no restrictions
