Job Objectives: The Childcare Support Specialist will assist classroom educators by directly engaging with children during their absence, under the guidance of the Site Supervisor.

Classroom Activities and Environment

  • Ensures a clean, safe, and developmentally suitable classroom atmosphere
  • Adheres to provided lesson plans and engages children in varied learning experiences
  • Incorporates outdoor activities under supervision
  • Promotes and teaches healthy eating habits
  • Follows daily schedules consistently
  • Collaborates in organizing shared spaces
  • Handles materials responsibly and complies with sanitation protocols
  • Completes necessary documentation and assessments for long-term roles
