Job Summary:

The Child Care Cook, Food Specialist, is a vital member of our culinary team at Learning Care Group. This role is responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious meals for our children and staff, adhering to state and federal regulations. As a Food Specialist, you will be at the heart of our kitchen, creating delicious and safe meals that meet the dietary needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals and snacks for children and staff, adhering to daily menus and nutritional guidelines.

• Maintain inventory of food and supplies, ordering more as needed to ensure a smooth operation.

• Assist in classrooms as needed, providing support to our teaching staff and helping to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience in cooking and food preparation for multiple individuals in a childcare facility, preferred.

• Ability to follow state and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

• Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
