Job Title: Hardware Design Validation Engineer

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Validation Engineer to join our team in Redmond, WA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer with experience in design validation of complex hardware/PCBAs, including power supply validation and interface validation. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field, and will be responsible for developing and executing test plans for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test plans for complex hardware/PCBAs, including power supply validation and interface validation.
  • Conduct testing and validation of electronic systems, including power supply and interface validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test reports, and technical notes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve test plans and validation processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in design validation of complex hardware/PCBAs, including power supply validation and interface validation.
  • 3 years of experience developing and executing test plans for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics systems.
  • 3 years of experience in the use of standard electronic lab test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and electronic loads.
  • Nice to have: 1 year of scripting or programming experience (Python, LabVIEW), and familiarity with power design/validation for any SoCs (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, etc.) specific power supply circuits.
