About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - PE to join our team at Cupertino Electric, Inc. as a Data Center Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for hyperscale data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform design tasks assigned by Lead or Supervising Engineers, including creating complete construction documents, conducting power studies, and coordinating design with equipment submittals.
  • Review and follow QAQC processes through the design and construction phases to ensure compliance with applicable codes and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers, and participate in the development of new CEI standards and processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design documents meet project scope requirements.
  • Perform engineering calculations and complex data center power studies, and provide mentorship to designers in technical subject areas.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer's license in the state of California.
  • 3-5 years of experience working for an electrical design firm or design-build electrical contractor.
  • Experience with AutoCAD - MEP/REVIT, ETAP/SKM, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meticulous work habits, including close attention to detail, time management, and people skills.
