Supervisor General Management Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee daily activities of clinical staff in the clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Determine staffing needs, prepare work schedules, and adjust schedules to compensate for workload and personnel shortages.
  • Assist with personnel hiring, evaluating job performance, terminating, and counseling.
  • Coordinate and ensure staff receives proper orientation, continuing education classes, and additional training.
  • Assist Administrator in monitoring expenses and completing payroll (ADP).
  • Ensure OSHA and Infection Control compliance among personnel.
  • Manage medical supplies, including ordering, coordination with vendors, and monitoring stock levels.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with Administrator, Supervisors, employees, Physicians, and other WellMed departments.
  • Represent the clinic in the absence of the Administrator.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or 4+ years of experience in a related field.
  • 1+ years of clinic operations or healthcare experience.
  • Proven computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of organization policies and procedures.
  • Proven knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Demonstrated skill in gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data.
  • Demonstrated skill in written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability to exercise initiative, problem-solving, decision-making.
  • Proven ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
  • Proven good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 300 pounds of force.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery.
  • Ability to properly drive and operate a company vehicle.
  • Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current Texas Vocational Nurse License.
  • 2+ years of related experience in a clinic setting.
