Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our green financing initiatives in the role of Vice President, Green Lending. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the deployment, monitoring, and reporting on investments made with National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF) grant funds received as part of the Power Forward Communities (PFC) award.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement EGA strategy in collaboration with senior leadership to drive systems change and advance racial equity.
  2. Evaluate and refine implementation of EGA strategy to ensure operational and financial policies and procedures support the attainment of key goals and desired outcomes.
  3. Cultivate, develop, and screen pipeline of NCIF eligible projects to drive business growth.
  4. Responsible for all aspects of EGA's origination and capital deployment, including annual production goals.
  5. Build strong relationships with other Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) awardees to share learnings and ideas for program implementation and success.
  6. Raise and structure private sources of capital to complement NCIF funds.
  7. Liaise with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and PFC to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with the program.
  8. Collaborate with other Enterprise business lines to support new product and pipeline development.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of community development lending experience with familiarity of credit, underwriting, and asset management functions.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible management experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of clean energy financing and federal requirements for NCIF and GGRF financing.
  • Excellent relationship building skills and ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strategic leadership and management skills, including competence in decision making, change management, staff management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated commitment to racial equity, social justice, and climate justice.
