Compensation and BenefitsAs a Technical Robotics Specialist, you will be part of Amazon's Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, responsible for repairing and maintaining automated material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per year, plus comprehensive healthcare benefits starting on Day 1, matching 401(k) program, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave.
About the RoleIn this challenging and rewarding position, you will use your technical skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in Bristol, IN. Your responsibilities will include:
- Repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems
- Mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment (MHE)
- Promoting safe work practices and completing necessary documentation
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications, as well as a high school or equivalent diploma. You should also be able to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Additionally, you will need 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures, 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment, and 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledge.
