California Environmental Voters seeks an ambitious and driven Regional Climate Justice Coordinator to join our team in the Inland Empire.

We offer a competitive annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000 base pay, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Job Description

This is a pivotal role in advancing climate justice and sustainability in California's Inland Empire region. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationships building and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

The Regional Climate Justice Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Building partnerships with regional organizations to advance climate justice and equity;
  • Fostering a coalition of climate and environmental justice stakeholders in the Inland Empire;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to engage low-income communities and communities of color in climate justice efforts;
  • Supporting the Inland Environmental Justice Voters PAC, Local League, and Political Action Committee; and
  • Collaborating with local, state, and federal elected officials to advance climate justice policies.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in organizing with marginalized communities and/or electoral campaigns, with a strong commitment to intersectional justice and environmental sustainability.
