Electrical and Instrumentation Project Specialist

Opportunity Overview:

  • Compensation: $75/hour
  • Location: Pecos, TX
  • Assignment Duration: 12 months+
  • Work Schedule: 9+ hours/day

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction-related field is preferred
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction within the energy sector
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards (NEC, API, etc.)
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, design, and implementation of electrical and instrumentation systems within energy facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant installations
  • Work closely with a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure adherence to regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to create detailed plans for electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Ensure alignment with project goals, safety protocols, and operational needs
  • Oversee installation tasks, including cable laying, equipment mounting, and wiring
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with schedules
  • Implement safety measures and best practices during installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors to address technical challenges
  • Encourage effective communication within the project team
