We're seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, system administration, and security. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test, and production environments. Furthermore, you will be responsible for integrating security practices into our DevOps processes, ensuring that our systems are secure, compliant, and resilient against cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Security Integration: Embed security practices and tools into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure secure software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design, implement, and manage secure infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing, and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Cloud Security: Manage and optimize secure cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Automation: Automate security checks and enforcement using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Implement and manage security monitoring and logging solutions, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, IT operations, and security teams to foster a security-first culture.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for security processes, infrastructure, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in DevSecOps, Task Automation, or GitOps.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in installation, configuration, or implementation in one or more of the following software.
  • Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, or software of similar capability.
  • Operating Software administration experience for Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine, RHEL.
  • Technical documentation writing experience.
  • DevOps Engineering certification for on-premises or public cloud is advantageous.
  • Experience with work planning and effort estimation is an advantage.
