Key Responsibilities
+ Evaluate, resolve, and respond to service inquiries from members, providers, and other stakeholders in accordance with departmental guidelines.
+ Maintain professional and courteous interactions as a standard expectation.
+ Collaborate with internal and external resources to promptly deliver information regarding benefits, eligibility, verification, authorization, billing, and claims status.
+ Identify and address customer concerns or complaints effectively, escalating when necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
+ Conduct outbound welcome calls to educate members about their benefits as required.
+ Assist walk-in members and agents as directed by leadership.
+ Follow established procedures and quality standards to support the performance indicators of the Patient Access Services Center.
+ Recognize potential trends or issues affecting health plan members and collaborate with colleagues and leadership to propose process enhancements.
+ Aid customers with administrative tasks, including enrollment record changes and providing coverage or benefits explanations.
+ Facilitate claims resolution by following up on member inquiries and directing correspondence to the appropriate departments.
+ Document all service interactions with customers accurately within the designated systems, adhering to guidelines.
+ Cultivate productivity, availability to customers, and compliance with work schedules.
