Product Marketing Operations Manager

Aquent's leading entertainment client is seeking a Product Marketing Operations Manager to join their evolving team. This role will focus on driving engagement and retention of streaming subscribers by empowering marketing and partner teams to unleash growth velocity.

The Product Marketing Operations Manager will be a hybrid of skill sets, including hands-on coding, test instrumentation, marketer strategy thought-partner collaboration, and user advocacy. This role will drive the execution and campaign delivery of lifecycle communications to enable the initiatives and objectives of marketers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage and ensure flawless execution of email, push, and In-App engagement channel messages
  • Assist with building, testing, and delivering lifecycle marketing campaign messages for the purpose of driving content engagement from subscribers
  • Execute messaging optimization and best practice adoption
  • Run split and multivariate tests, ensuring test protocols are administered to minimize bias
  • Create and manage project plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, coordinate work streams and dependencies
  • Track and communicate message campaigns' progress, utilizing targeting capabilities while balancing against business goals as well as identify obstacles / flag issues to partners and ensure they're addressed
  • Drive messaging reporting and run adhoc analysis when requested
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaigns across personalization, dynamic content management, etc.
  • Implement and audit all analytic encoding to enable messaging effectiveness
  • Ensure all messages conform to GDPR, and other legal or compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, product management, program management, or directly relevant field and executing CRM/Lifecycle channel marketing campaigns with insights and optimization tactics for email, push, SMS, and in-app
  • Proficiency in building HTML emails from assets files, make message template adjustments, and have the ability to articulate more complex needs to developers; ability to troubleshoot simple HTML errors
  • A/B and multivariate test design, execution
  • An understanding and administration of message experimentation best practices
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to identify issues and implement remedies inclusive of conveying even the most complex concepts in simplified, easy to understand, and digestible terms
  • Experience supporting a globally / multi-country distributed stakeholder team
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, highly methodical, and strong team player with superior communication and copywriting skills and a drive to exceed user expectations and enable partner marketing teams
  • Be able to multitask and handle simultaneous projects, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and display composure under stress
  • Superior stakeholder partnership management via a consultative approach
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies – Jira/Confluence as well as email and mobile channel best practices
  • Ability to be on-call, when high-priority business needs necessitate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an operational role
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Template scripting (e.g. AMPscript, Liquid)
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and working knowledge of Jira/Confluence
  • Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, and/or other lifecycle marketing platforms, ideally certified in one main platform
  • Experience in building lifecycle user journeys

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science

Compensation:

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.87 to $55.41 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
