Data Management Specialist

The SOCOM Information Environment (SIE) is a critical component in the success of SOCOM operations, ensuring seamless and secure communication across various networks.
As a Data Management Specialist with JCTM, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, troubleshooting, and support of IT systems within SOCOM's unclassified, classified, and commercial networks.
Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining the reliability and security of the SOCOM Information Environment while supporting key Audio/Visual systems for command events, classrooms, and conference rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level IT support for SOCOM's commercial, unclassified, and classified networks, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and connectivity issues, ensuring seamless IT operations across SOCOM's information environment.
Troubleshoot and repair AV systems in classrooms and conference rooms, providing technical support for command events, presentations, and ceremonies.
Manage and serve as the system administrator for the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE), ensuring all systems are properly maintained and secure.
Ensure compliance with SOCOM's security protocols, utilizing Security+ certification expertise to manage network integrity and protect against cyber threats.
Requirements:
TS/SCI Clearance
Expert-level knowledge of the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE), including commercial, unclassified, and classified networks.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair IT hardware, network connectivity, and Audio/Visual (AV) systems.
Security+ certification required for managing and serving as a system administrator on the SOCOM network.
Experience in customer support, addressing IT service requests and delivering timely solutions.
Ability to manage and support AV requirements for SOCOM command events, classrooms, and conference rooms.
