Job Title: IT Specialist III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist III to join our team at Linchpin Solutions Inc. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong background in IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management.

Job Summary:

The IT Specialist III will be responsible for assisting information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects. This includes conceptualizing, designing, constructing, testing, and implementing portions of business and technical IT solutions through the application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist information engineers in coding, testing, implementation, and documentation projects.
  • Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement portions of business and technical IT solutions.
  • Interact with customers to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction.
  • Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Collect, identify, define, and organize detailed user and IT requirements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with others in analyzing collected requirements to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer.
  • Participate in business and technical IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
  • Apply metrics to monitor performance and measure critical project criteria.
  • Establish and maintain security, integrity, and business continuity controls and documents.
  • Analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems using appropriate tools.
Requirements:
  • IAT Level II certification.
  • CompTIA Security + certification.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
  • High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
  • 4+ years of experience related to Information Technology (IT).
  • Demonstrated experience applying creative solutions to IT-related problems.
  • Demonstrated experience having initiative in the workplace.
  • Experience in Information Systems (IS).
  • Specialized experience in a single discipline such as assembly/integration, cross-discipline functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering or legacy evolution.
  • Background in Cybersecurity is highly preferred.
