Job Summary: As a key member of the Enterprise Business Analytics & Business Intelligence team at Health Care Service Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist to design and develop data integrations that deliver Enterprise BI Data Marts and BI Semantic Data layers. This role requires strong technical skills in platforms such as RDBMS, MPP Platforms (Teradata), Hadoop Datalake, and Azure cloud, with the ability to design and develop end-to-end data integration pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop data integrations to deliver Enterprise BI Data Marts and BI Semantic Data layers
* Work on multiple projects within the team, including initiatives to improve data processes, technology infrastructure, and reporting/analytical services
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to design, develop, and implement data products solutions to enable insights
* Develop and maintain knowledge of Business Intelligence Architecture and technologies
* Work with a data architecture team to develop and manage a universal semantic model

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or 6 years of equivalent experience with data integration platforms
* Minimum 1 year of experience working with SQL
* Minimum 1 year of experience working in Data and Analytics tools and solutions
* Knowledge of Business Intelligence Architecture and technologies
* Experience working with a data architecture team to develop/manage a universal semantic model
* Ability to work with business stakeholders to design, develop data products solution to enable insights
* Knowledge and understanding of Hadoop tech stack like HDFS, Hive, HQL, Spark, Scala, Pyspark/python, Sqoop
* Knowledge and understanding of MPP platforms like Teradata BTEQ, SQL etc
* Knowledge and understanding of Azure Cloud Analytics Services Synapse, ADLS, ADF, Azure SQL etc
* Knowledge of DevOps / continuous deployment / integration process and tools
* Knowledge of working with Enterprise grade scheduling tools like control M, Zena etc

Preferred Qualifications:

* Healthcare sector experience preferred
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
* Strong knowledge of SQL, analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources
* Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur
