Job Description and Position Requirements:

The Coping and Regulation of Environment Stress (CaRES) Lab, directed by Dr. Martha Wadsworth in the College of Liberal Arts at Penn State University, invites applications for a Research Data Management Specialist. This position will develop, execute, and maintain core data management services for large-scale, data-intensive research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and analyzing data sets
  • Identifying potential problems with study data and collaborating with other staff to resolve issues
  • Planning, executing, and documenting data audits; designing and creating data quality reports
  • Creating and implementing data management training sessions for research staff
  • Preparing bi-annual reports for submission to Data Safety Monitoring Board and NIMH
  • Preparing data and analyzing for annual RPPR and for publication and presentations
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

This position will be filled as a Research Data Management Specialist-Professional, which requires a Bachelor's Degree.

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is: $46, $67,300.00
