LPN-LTC Vent Unit Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the Vent Unit at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing skills and knowledge to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or Associate's degree.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maryland.
  • AHA CPR certification.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
