As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the Vent Unit at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your knowledge of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Key Responsibilities- Attend to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift basis, ensuring the needs of residents are met.
- Assume responsibilities of a leadership role as needed, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma) with a formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
- License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
- Specialty Bed Operation knowledge.
