Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our Vent Unit. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing skills and knowledge to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Assume leadership roles as needed to support the daily operations of the unit.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or Associate's degree.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maryland.
- AHA CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- Knowledge of specialized equipment, such as IV pumps and monitoring systems.
