About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Clinical Risk Management to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our risk management department, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks that could impact patient safety and quality of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to prevent adverse events and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and near misses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address potential risks, and develop education programs to promote a culture of safety.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on risk management best practices, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including insurance carriers and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare risk management, patient safety, or quality improvement.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission and Department of Health standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
