  • Ensures the accurate removal and counting of all vouchers and currency from gaming bill acceptors.
  • Manages the secure storage of gaming-related records and documentation.
  • Prepares and generates reports on gaming devices, cash, vouchers, and winnings at the conclusion of the count.
  • Handles minor maintenance and repairs of mechanical equipment, notifying vendors and supervisors of any significant issues.
  • Addresses problems within the scope of authority and recommends solutions for issues beyond that scope to the supervisor.
  • Keeps the supervisor informed of relevant activities and developments.
  • Reviews the performance of subordinate employees to ensure compliance with management standards and reports any deficiencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: In addition to other duties, each Team Member has responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Participates in mandatory training sessions provided by the Company.
  • Obtains and maintains necessary licenses.
  • Performs duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Takes steps to ensure minors are not permitted to gamble or loiter in gaming areas, consume alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Maintains knowledge of relevant ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures pertaining to the department.
  • Understands the Property's programs addressing problem gaming.
  • Reports any known acts of misconduct.

Position Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office and menu-driven programs, are essential. Ability to articulate and communicate ideas effectively and make independent decisions is necessary.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages subordinates who may oversee other employees. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit(s).
