Job SummaryThis role involves fabricating, building, and installing various types of metal structures and equipment for facility maintenance and installation programs. As an Apprentice Sheet Metal Technician, you will assist in the installation of sheet metal equipment and ductwork, properly install sheet metal accessories, and work safely following OSHA standards and New England Air Systems protocol.
Responsibilities- Assist in the installation of sheet metal equipment and ductwork.
- Properly install sheet metal accessories.
- Work safely following OSHA standards and New England Air Systems protocol.
- Measure, cut, and weld pieces according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of projects and repairs.
- Cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal to required dimensions.
- Maintenance of a clean and orderly workspace.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our apprenticeship program takes 4 years to complete, providing comprehensive training and hands-on experience in the sheet metal trade.
