Job Summary

The Oncology Clinic Nurse provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families about their treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, including quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • At least one year of oncology nursing experience, with preference given to candidates with experience in cancer care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
