Oncology Clinic Nurse

The Oncology Clinic Nurse provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families about their treatment plans.
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, including quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year of oncology nursing experience, with preference given to candidates with experience in cancer care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
