Job Summary:

The Clinical Coordinator III is a key member of the Oncology Department, responsible for supervising clinical staff and ensuring seamless patient care. This role requires a credentialed Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in healthcare management.

This position oversees the clinical and patient flow activities of the physician office, including scheduling, staff supervision, and patient care. The Clinical Coordinator III must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide clinical care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a health/medical setting, with two years of supervisory experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the candidate must be licensed to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee. BLS certification is also required.

This is a team-based approach to care, and the Clinical Coordinator III will work closely with the Director to establish yearly clinical budgets and ensure compliance with DNV standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all clinical staff members
  • Oversee patient triaging functions
  • Ensure DNV compliance standards are met
  • Establish and manage clinical budgets
  • Manage clinical supplies, medications, and equipment
  • Support other general practice operations

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum three years of experience in a health/medical setting
  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Computer experience with MS Windows, Outlook, and medical software applications

License/Certification/Registration:

  • Current license to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee
  • BLS certification
