ROLE PURPOSE
The Child Care Supervisor (CCS) is tasked with developing and leading a high-performing team dedicated to caring for and ensuring the safety of the children of our members and guests during their visits.
This is accomplished by creating a welcoming atmosphere, guaranteeing the safety of our young members, and providing engaging and enjoyable programs.
Additionally, the CCS is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized KidCare environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Staffing and Training Support:
Anticipate staffing requirements by engaging in regular discussions with Child Care Staff to understand evolving work schedules and needs.
Collaborate with the General Manager to schedule and conduct interviews, ensuring the selection of suitable candidates for open roles. Organize and facilitate training for new Child Care Staff. Partner with the GM to foster a welcoming atmosphere for candidates and new hires.Uphold KidCare Standards by ensuring that every individual feels welcomed through personalized greetings and farewells.
Ensure that all team members interact positively with everyone.The CCS will drive policy adherence, manage operational costs, and guarantee that young members can enjoy fun and engaging programming.
Engaging Programming:The CCS ensures that all KidCare activities are delivered in a manner that delights our young members.
Effective Playbook Implementation:
The CCS guarantees that all KidCare procedures are followed precisely by the team within the fitness center.
This includes timely completion of required checks and documentation.Cost Management:
The CCS oversees operational expenses by managing labor and equipment costs without compromising the needs of our young members.
Safety of our Young Members: The CCS ensures that all young members are checked in and out of KidCare following established protocols.
In addition to hourly safety checks, they will ensure that every young member is monitored throughout their stay to ensure their well-being.
They will maintain cleanliness in KidCare and ensure that equipment and toys are repaired and well-maintained.Maintaining Cleanliness:
The CCS ensures that every area of the KidCare Center is kept in pristine condition.
Equipment Maintenance:
The CCS identifies equipment issues, submits repair requests, and ensures prompt resolution.
Safety Checks:The CCS collaborates with the GM to conduct hourly safety checks in KidCare to ensure the highest level of care for young members.
Build and Develop a High-Performing Team. Foster a culture within the team that aligns with our core values and promotes accountability. The CCS is responsible for attracting, hiring, coaching, and maximizing the engagement of the operations team at their location.Coach and
Support Ongoing Team Member Development:
Lead by example and embody enthusiasm for VASA values. Build trust and strong relationships with all team members across all levels of the organization. Provide immediate coaching that inspires commitment and offer input and feedback to the GM during succession planning discussions.
